Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable, high-quality software solutions.
  • Build and administer Java applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements to coding hygiene, system architecture, and application quality.
  • Apply software development lifecycle tools, testing practices, secure coding standards, and operational stability principles.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and administering Java applications with Java, Spring Boot, and React.
  • Working knowledge of at least one public cloud environment: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies.
