Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable, maintainable frontend systems.
- Partner with Product Managers to define requirements, scope, and technically feasible solutions.
- Lead technical decisions and successful delivery for medium-to-large features.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
- Identify and resolve frontend bottlenecks, technical debt, and systemic issues.
- Advocate for React, TypeScript, and web performance best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Backend Engineers on seamless data flow and system reliability.
- Develop data visualization and analytics experiences when needed.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with deep specialization in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience architecting complex state management systems and adapting across state-management libraries.
- Ability to design maintainable systems that manage complexity effectively.
- Experience teaching peers and elevating engineering practices through reviews and mentorship.
- Proficiency writing robust unit and integration tests with tools such as Jest or Playwright.
- Deep understanding of web performance, browser internals, and optimization for data-heavy applications.
- Product-oriented judgment, including the ability to challenge requirements and propose better solutions.
- Preferred experience with data visualization, large datasets, DOM-heavy interfaces, and Highcharts.
- A portfolio, GitHub history, or technical writing demonstrating clean code, design sensibility, and architectural problem-solving is preferred.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Angular, ClickHouse, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and AI-driven coding tools or models is a plus.
