Responsibilities
- Own significant portions of the software development lifecycle independently, from architecture and technical design through production delivery.
- Develop and maintain the core provisioning pipeline and latency-sensitive internal APIs for automated tenant creation.
- Contribute components, tooling, and integration patterns to the Self-Managed Platform Solution for regulated and on-premise environments.
- Shape the team’s technical vision and strategy while balancing cloud and self-managed deployment models.
- Improve service scalability, reliability, and compliance with defined latency SLAs.
- Collaborate with Identity, Platform, Licensing Management, and other engineering and business teams on broad-impact projects.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests and maintain high software quality standards.
- Document processes, concepts, and technical insights.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience building high-performance Java applications.
- Strong practical experience with Spring frameworks.
- Expert familiarity with containerization, including Docker, and proven experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
- Experience with REST APIs and/or distributed microservice architecture.
- Experience writing and setting up comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Strong English communication skills and a commitment to clean, understandable code.
- Preferred: hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with tools such as Terraform.
- Preferred: experience with Go for automation and tooling.
- Preferred: experience with on-premise or self-managed enterprise solutions, including deployment models and packaging such as Helm.
- Preferred: experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as Datadog.
