Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C.
- Work with Linux-based embedded systems and FreeRTOS environments.
- Participate in requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams.
- Debug and optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and safety.
- Document design specifications, code, and test procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
- At least five years of embedded firmware development experience.
- Proficiency in Embedded C programming.
- Strong experience with Linux and FreeRTOS in embedded environments.
- Understanding of the embedded development lifecycle and best practices.
- Experience with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and version control systems such as Git.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with motor protection applications, Motor Control Units, feeder relays, functional safety standards, embedded cybersecurity, secure boot, encryption, secure communication, and CAN, SPI, I2C, or UART protocols.
