Base Salary

$99k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write, review, test, deploy, document, and maintain code for internal AWS tools and services.
  • Build automation that reduces repetitive work, manual intervention, cognitive load, and operational burden.
  • Enhance regional reliability and expand coverage for critical AWS services.
  • Investigate system and service interdependencies, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve root causes.
  • Collaborate on design discussions, operational support, documentation, and software development lifecycle activities.
  • Participate in code reviews, continuous learning, mentorship, and reliability engineering improvements.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or above, or CND or GSEC certification.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
  • Experience with automation tools for building, testing, releasing, or monitoring.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Preferred: proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Preferred: experience with highly concurrent, high-throughput systems and complex distributed systems.
