Responsibilities
- Build tooling and processes for endpoint detection and response, data loss prevention, and email security.
- Maintain and improve security tools through automation, quality assurance processes, and feedback loops.
- Collaborate with security analysts, security engineers, and technical system owners to investigate expected and actual system behavior.
- Shape the Enterprise Security roadmap and prioritize operational improvements with managers and peers.
- Conduct targeted threat hunting and develop detections and automation from findings.
- Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
- Participate in periodic off-hours escalation rotations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in information security and improving security tooling across corporate IT and complex platform environments.
- Experience with some combination of mobile device management, endpoint detection and response, data loss prevention, and cloud security tooling.
- Broad knowledge of operating systems, file systems, networking, common protocols, public cloud security, and automation.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Experience managing complex changes in larger organizations, including communication and implementation plans.
