Responsibilities
- Design and scale robust, reusable automated testing frameworks.
- Build and maintain automated scripts for functional and regression test cases.
- Automate verification of frame exchanges, including 4-way handshakes and beacon intervals.
- Simulate high-density client environments and automate performance and stress testing.
- Analyze automation logs to identify software bugs versus hardware limitations.
- Review peer automation code and promote clean-code, version-control, and documentation practices.
- Design and automate technical dashboards tracking key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Robot Framework, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Experience integrating automated tests into Jenkins and other CI/CD pipelines.
- Expert-level Git skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Wi-Fi RF and networking protocols.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with SOAP UI Pro or Postman.
- Linux/Unix command-line proficiency, including test-environment management, log analysis, and shell scripting.
- Understanding of database systems such as SQL Server.
- Cloud infrastructure and containerization experience is a plus.
