Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable back-end software and services primarily using Python.
- Use Azure cloud services, including Functions, App Services, storage, and identity capabilities, to build reliable solutions.
- Design APIs and integrate back-end components with internal and customer-facing platforms.
- Apply software engineering practices to deliver maintainable, secure, and production-ready solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and scalability issues across services and cloud workloads.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve the efficiency, resilience, and observability of back-end systems.
- Prepare and present work to colleagues while collaborating across the company.
Requirements
- Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states.
- At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- High proficiency in professional Python and/or C# development.
- Strong understanding of reusability, maintainability, security, and testing best practices.
- Thorough understanding of computer systems, including operating systems, networking, and infrastructure.
- Experience with Azure-native development, API design, and cloud-based architectures is a plus.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, collaborate effectively, and work under occasional pressure.
