Base Salary

$108k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and enforce security solutions aligned with security policy.
  • Oversee changes to hardware, software, and network configurations and apply infrastructure security best practices.
  • Automate cybersecurity activities and resolve system bugs as required.
  • Develop and maintain production-quality CI/CD and release pipelines.
  • Develop automation with Python, Linux shells, Windows PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent languages.
  • Remediate cyber findings on Linux host baselines and Windows environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Implement DoD STIGs and support network systems administration.
  • Apply advanced technical solutions involving containers, orchestration, monitoring, logging, alerting, and cybersecurity tools.

Requirements

  • An engineering degree and 8–12 years of relevant practical Linux and/or Windows systems administration experience, with additional experience accepted in lieu of the degree.
  • Active and current Secret clearance required.
  • Hands-on experience with Gitea, GitLab, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform, Nexus Repository Manager, Artifactory, and production CI/CD release pipelines.
  • Hands-on automation development using Python, Linux shells, Windows PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent languages.
  • Experience remediating Linux and Windows cyber findings, including Active Directory implementation and Group Policy definitions.
  • Familiarity with network systems administration and STIG implementation.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Prometheus, Grafana, and ALG Stack is an additional qualification.
  • Familiarity with DoD STIGs and tools including EvaluateSTIG, StigViewer, Security Center, and Nessus/ACAS.
  • Active and current TS/SCI clearance is listed as an additional qualification.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

Benefits

  • The listed pay range is $107,900.00–$195,050.00 annually.
  • The position supports Department of Defense JADC2 mission programs within Leidos's Decision Advantage Division.
