Responsibilities
- Develop AI-powered products and automation for caregivers and clinicians.
- Build backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for production systems.
- Create systems to extract and reason over complex healthcare information.
- Evaluate and improve system quality through performance analysis.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Clinical, and Operations teams to refine workflows.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to engineering foundations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or applied AI.
- Strong programming skills and understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with language models, machine-learning models, or AI APIs.
- Familiarity with backend development, APIs, and data processing.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and iterate based on evidence.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
