Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage data services on Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform for security and scalability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
- Deploy and support cloud-native data services like Amazon Kinesis and Google Pub/Sub.
- Utilize AI-powered tools for script generation and incident troubleshooting.
- Create automation scripts in Python to enhance DevOps workflows.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate with engineers to align infrastructure with application requirements.
- Document infrastructure and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role.
- Production experience with AWS and/or GCP data services.
- Hands-on experience managing containerized workloads on Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Terraform and Git-based workflows.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for automation.
- Familiarity with observability stacks such as CloudWatch and Datadog.
- Fundamental grasp of SRE principles including incident response.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
