Responsibilities
- Complete technical design, prototyping, software development, bug verification, and resolution.
- Perform system analysis and programming requiring research and analysis.
- Provide technical and engineering support for applications throughout their lifecycle.
- Develop and test applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Estimate individual and budget-level tasks and product effort costs.
- Deliver quality software to production and create technical documentation.
- Collaborate with QA and customer support teams to validate products and resolve defects.
- Perform release validation, beta support, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Research problems, develop solutions, and help define departmental and corporate standards.
- Train and mentor less experienced peers and potentially contribute to product architecture.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional programming experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with RPG, SQL, and DB2.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, software engineering, or computer science preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of Agile development methodologies, SOA architecture, XML, and JHA Deposits Core Banking, including SilverLake or CIF 20/20, is preferred.
