Responsibilities
- Complete technical design, prototyping, software development, bug verification, and resolution.
- Perform system analysis and programming requiring research and analysis.
- Provide engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery through retirement.
- Estimate individual and budget-level tasks, product efforts, and costs.
- Deliver quality software to production and develop and test applications against business requirements.
- Create technical documentation and help define and document standards.
- Collaborate with QA and customer support to deliver products and diagnose or resolve defects.
- Perform release validation, beta support, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Research problems, develop solutions, contribute to product architecture, and mentor less experienced peers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional programming experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with RPG, SQL, and DB2.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, software engineering, or computer science is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, SOA architecture, XML, or JHA Deposits Core Banking products such as SilverLake or CIF 20/20 is preferred.
