Responsibilities
- Develop software in OCaml as part of project work.
- Participate in a support rotation to actively resolve live issues in critical systems.
- Design and develop tools used to monitor and support the firm’s trading systems.
- Take ownership of system architecture and design.
- Collaborate with application developers and teams across departments and functions.
- Investigate complex and urgent production issues and improve software systems.
Requirements
- Strong programming ability with the ability to write and read code well.
- Intellectual curiosity, motivation, collaboration, and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to remain clear and calm during production incidents.
- Fluency in English.
- Background in functional programming or finance is not required.
