Responsibilities
- Build high-quality frontend features using React and TypeScript.
- Refactor legacy and complex code to improve readability, testability, and maintainability.
- Identify and resolve issues across the stack with robust and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Contribute to technical direction, frontend developer experience, testing practices, performance optimization, and shared tools.
- Support quality, performance, reliability, security, incident management, and on-call responsibilities for checkout services.
- Evaluate, extend, and maintain open-source codebases, shared libraries, and tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
- Experience working on complex or long-lived codebases.
- Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and refactor existing systems.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, computer engineering, or MIS, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
