Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of new Metadata Platform components from the ground up.
- Collaborate with partner teams and domain architects on system design and service integration.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, observable, operable, and efficient services.
- Develop frontend experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript, modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS, with backend coding in Node.js.
- Help define platform vision and feature roadmaps.
- Mentor and coach engineers and provide technical feedback.
- Strengthen engineering processes, principles, culture, and continuous-improvement practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript and expertise with React or Vue.
- Strong HTML/CSS knowledge, including responsive user interfaces, state management, accessibility, performance, and security basics.
- Backend coding experience with Node.js; proficiency is advantageous.
- Understanding of scalability and observability practices.
- Ability to design, build, and deploy high-quality software.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers and providing technical feedback.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Experience deploying and operating microservices in a cloud environment is a bonus.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure is a bonus.
