Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize customer-facing applications using React Native, React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Drive frontend architecture and technical decisions, improve scalability, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers.
- Lead improvements to production monitoring, alerting, observability, testing, and release practices.
- Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, and cross-functional partners to prototype and deliver customer experiences.
- Champion modern AI tools and workflows to improve engineering efficiency, code quality, and standards.
- Own complex initiatives end-to-end by translating vision into implementation plans and guiding execution through delivery.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript and hands-on React Native experience delivering production-grade frontend applications.
- Experience with frontend architecture, performance optimization, and technical decision-making.
- Hands-on experience using modern AI tools and workflows such as Claude Code and AWS Bedrock.
- Practical experience setting up and maintaining production monitoring and observability frameworks.
- Strong product and design judgment with the ability to prototype and iterate independently.
- Strong communication, collaboration, autonomy, and ownership skills.
- Backend services and API experience with technologies such as Node.js or GraphQL is a bonus.
- Experience with React Native native module integrations, mobile performance optimization, and mobile rendering patterns such as the New Architecture is nice to have.
