Responsibilities

  • Apply testing types and methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Write and maintain automated API and UI tests using Java, JavaScript, Python, BDD tools, and Selenium.
  • Implement system-level integration testing and create effective tests that remain valid through code refactoring.
  • Collaborate with developers on bug fixes and build plans.
  • Collaborate with Quality Leaders to create test plans.
  • Configure testing tools and assist junior staff when needed.
  • Apply software security, scalability, documentation, refactoring, and testing practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM major such as instrumentation, computer science, or information technology.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience.
  • Strong software knowledge and experience writing scripts in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Experience with database, SQL, or Oracle technologies and Windows, Unix, or Linux.
  • Experience testing client-server and GUI applications.
  • Knowledge of Agile development environments, structured reviews, and strict quality procedures.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven testing and strong communication, planning, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of mathematics is highly desirable.
