Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and Jira stories; create test plans, assess automation feasibility, and plan testing activities.
- Analyze application flows and prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and user documentation.
- Execute functional, manual regression, and automated regression testing; log defects and retest fixes.
- Develop test scripts, perform automation dry runs, and integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.
- Use AI tools for requirements analysis, test generation, synthetic test data, failure triage, defect reporting, visual checks, accessibility checks, and test script maintenance.
- Build reusable prompts, agent workflows, and standards for AI-assisted QA and measure their impact on coverage, cycle time, and defect leakage.
- Evaluate AI-powered features for output accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of working experience in software testing or QA.
- Technology-based university degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to assure the quality of developed software and code.
- Experience with at least one of Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
- Experience with CI/CD environments, Jira or Azure Boards, Confluence, and Git.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar in testing or development workflows.
- Practical knowledge of designing and developing test automation solutions.
- Experience with Azure DevOps is desirable.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of TypeScript and Python for test automation, scripting, and framework development is desirable.
- Familiarity with AI-native testing tools, Playwright MCP, or agent-based test generation and execution is desirable.
- Experience testing AI-powered features such as chatbots or generative content is desirable.
- Ability to work analytically and pragmatically in an agile environment, communicate fluently in English, and apply sound judgment to AI-generated output.
