Responsibilities
- Own medium-sized quality engineering tasks and deliver results while mentoring and assisting team members.
- Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
- Test software features and web services to ensure functionality, quality, throughput, and performance under load.
- Integrate project testing with continuous integration processes.
- Diagnose bugs with team members and formulate solutions.
- Provide expertise in quality engineering, test planning, and testing methodology.
- Apply software development lifecycle, security, scalability, documentation, refactoring, and testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, or MCA.
- Minimum six years of professional experience.
- Ability to write Java code for testing solution code, including white-box testing.
- Experience with Selenium and GitHub.
- Experience testing web services using SOAP and REST, including throughput and performance-under-load testing.
- Experience working with virtual machines as part of test or integration infrastructure.
- Strong oral, written communication, interpersonal, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
