Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises infrastructure and applications to Microsoft Azure.
- Design, develop, and manage Terraform infrastructure as code for Azure compute, networking, and storage resources.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tools.
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux servers in Azure environments.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Implement monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Splunk.
- Apply security and compliance practices including role-based access control, network security groups, patching, and data protection.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support product integration and delivery.
Requirements
- 6–13 years of experience and proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or Cloud Migration Specialist.
- Strong Python or TypeScript/JavaScript experience.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure as code principles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services, including infrastructure, platform, networking, and storage services.
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools, especially Azure DevOps, and Git branching strategies.
- Deep expertise administering Linux operating systems, including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Proficiency with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Any graduation-level education is required; listed backgrounds include B.Tech/B.E, MBA, MCA, and BCA.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-400 or AZ-104 are highly desirable.
