Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises infrastructure and applications to Microsoft Azure.
- Design, develop, and manage Terraform infrastructure as code for Azure virtual machines, networking, storage, and related resources.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and secure Linux servers including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu in Azure.
- Develop automation scripts with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, performance optimization, availability, and cost-efficiency solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Splunk.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support product integration and delivery.
- Implement security controls including role-based access control, network security groups, patching, compliance, and data protection strategies.
Requirements
- 6–13 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps and infrastructure, cloud migrations, CI/CD pipelines, and automation scripting.
- Strong Python or TypeScript/JavaScript experience.
- Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or Cloud Migration Specialist.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, and related services.
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps, and Git branching strategies.
- Deep expertise in Linux administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-400 or AZ-104 are highly desirable.
- A graduation-level qualification such as B.Tech/B.E, MBA, MCA, or BCA is required.
