Base Salary
$206k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable computer systems that manage large volumes of information and fulfill business goals.
- Improve backend scalability and performance through backend framework integration, API improvements, and database optimization.
- Build tools that ingest and process signals from multiple sources for partner teams.
- Implement logging and data visualization systems for backend APIs.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues from production, automated testing, QA testing, and customers.
- Design scalable, reliable automated testing suites to reduce manual quality assurance work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software development and deployment processes using continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least six years of software development experience.
- At least four years of experience building software solutions in Java, C++, Python, or Ruby.
- At least four years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems.
- At least four years of experience translating business needs into software requirements and designs.
- At least four years of experience debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- At least four years of distributed-systems experience.
- At least four years of experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performance RESTful microservices.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $206,086–$285,600 per year, with potential equity, company bonus, or sales commissions/bonuses in addition to base salary.
