Base Salary

$112k - $179k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Drive the maturity of the current cloud platform across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS and lead continuous delivery of highly visible applications.
  • Architect and implement technology transformation initiatives involving cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and emerging digital solutions.
  • Use modern tools and observability metrics to troubleshoot recurring enterprise and cloud platform issues and lead improvement initiatives.
  • Lead Agile sprints and identify process inefficiencies, standardization opportunities, and mitigations for incident response.
  • Use Datadog or Dynatrace for monitoring, alerting, and enterprise observability.
  • Assess event impact and risks, communicate status to executives and stakeholders, and manage communications during high-impact events.
  • Own customer issues from identification through resolution and ensure standards are maintained across technical engineering teams.
  • Create and review technical documentation, including incident reports, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and standard mitigation procedures.
  • Respond to RFIs and draft technical approach responses aligned with the roadmap and strategic agenda.
  • Establish standard approaches for connecting data, systems, AI, digital dashboards, and tools supporting data, finances, design, equipment, and project progress.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust level clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience, master's degree and 10 years of experience, or high school diploma/equivalent and 16 years of experience.
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience with AWS, DevSecOps, application development, networking, IT security tools, databases, and modern software development environments.
  • One relevant AWS certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Security Specialty, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code solutions.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management roles and permissions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based containerized applications, including AWS EKS and Spring Boot-based container services.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, enabling environments, feature flags, and DORA metrics aggregation.
  • Proficiency in at least one software language, such as Python, C, C++, Java, or Ruby.
  • Preferred AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or AWS Certified Security Specialty certification.
  • Senior consulting or advisory experience driving strategic change and digital adoption across multiple business units.
  • Strong analytical, technical, business judgment, leadership, communication, execution, and attention-to-detail skills.
