Base Salary
$112k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the maturity and continuous delivery of cloud platform capabilities across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Design and implement cloud, AI, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Use observability tools and metrics to troubleshoot recurring enterprise and cloud platform issues and drive improvements.
- Lead Agile sprints, standardize incident response processes, and improve team workflows.
- Manage high-impact event communications, customer issues, root-cause analyses, mitigations, and technical documentation.
- Communicate complex technical information to customers, stakeholders, and executives.
- Respond to RFIs and draft technical approaches aligned with the roadmap and strategic agenda.
- Establish standards for connecting data, systems, AI, dashboards, and operational business tools.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, master’s degree with 10 years of experience, or high school diploma/equivalent with 16 years of experience.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience with AWS, DevSecOps, application development, networking, IT security tools, databases, and modern software development environments.
- One relevant AWS certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Security Specialty, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code and strong understanding of identity and access management roles and permissions.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based containerized applications, AWS EKS, and Spring Boot-based container services.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, including enabling environments, feature flags, and DORA metrics aggregation.
- Coding proficiency in at least one of Python, C, C++, Java, or Ruby.
- Strong analytical, technical, business judgment, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Solutions Architect–Professional and AWS Certified Security–Specialty certifications.
