Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities
- Own health system implementations from technical scoping through go-live and ongoing optimization.
- Build custom integrations and intelligent workflows across healthcare platforms and customer systems.
- Debug integrations involving phone systems, EHRs, scheduling platforms, and patient engagement tools.
- Build tooling and automation to improve the speed and quality of future implementations.
- Optimize production AI agent performance using real-world data and customer feedback.
- Partner with Product Engineering to influence platform direction and turn implementation patterns into product features.
- Work with Sales to scope technical requirements and demonstrate capabilities to prospects.
- Act as the technical customer advocate while explaining solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong software engineering background with a track record of shipping production code.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and working across multiple systems.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-stakes environments.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Resourceful and scrappy approach to solving unclear or difficult problems.
- Passion for healthcare and improving patient access.
- Preferred: experience with healthcare systems such as EHR, practice management, or patient engagement platforms.
- Preferred: customer-facing engineering, solutions engineering, or implementation experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with voice or telephony systems such as Twilio.
- Preferred: background in AI/LLM applications and experience with enterprise customers.
