Responsibilities
- Review requirements and develop software modules to fulfill them.
- Develop embedded C/C++ software for Ethernet and Optical Networking, including OTN protocols.
- Perform Linux board bring-up and develop drivers for I2C, SPI, QSPI, and UART interfaces.
- Develop unit test plans, Python test harnesses, and software tools to detect coding errors before submission.
- Participate in feature integration and validation.
- Provide regular status updates and input to team leaders while collaborating with diverse teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Engineering with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience developing software modules in C and C++.
- Experience developing embedded software in Linux and performing board bring-up.
- Experience developing software drivers for I2C, SPI, QSPI, and UART communication interfaces.
- Working experience with Ethernet, Optical Networking, OTN protocols, and networking protocols.
- Strong ability to learn new technical areas and products and collaborate with teams from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Preferred familiarity with agile programming methods, AI tools/AI-DLC, Optical DWDM Transport, FPGA programming, and device-driver development.
