Responsibilities
- Author and maintain Claude skills, plugins, and system prompts for production customer-facing agents.
- Design agent behavior around clarifying questions, requirements gathering, tool selection, and confidence boundaries.
- Version prompts and skills, document changes, and debug hallucinations, incorrect tool use, missed questions, and context exhaustion.
- Define correctness criteria, build evaluation suites and ground-truth datasets, and catch regressions before release.
- Engineer context strategies and collaborate on MCP tool surfaces, descriptions, cost, latency, and accuracy.
- Protect agents against prompt injection, data leakage, unsafe tool use, and inaccurate or overstated findings.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, or an exceptional research track record.
- Demonstrated experience building and shipping LLM agents to real users rather than only prototypes or demos.
- Hands-on experience with agent skills, plugins, system prompts, or equivalent agent-behavior tooling.
- Demonstrated evaluation discipline, including building an evaluation suite, defining ground truth, and identifying regressions.
- Strong written English and working proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with comfort reading the relevant codebase.
- Understanding of tool-calling/function-calling, agent tool selection, prompt injection, PII handling, and customer-facing AI failure modes.
- Ad-tech, digital advertising, or fraud-detection experience is strongly preferred, including programmatic, DSP, SSP, CTV, or IVT concepts.
- MCP or similar tool-integration standards, LLM observability and tracing, retrieval systems, SQL, and large-dataset analysis are preferred.
- Willingness to work with some U.S. timezone overlap and learn the ad-tech domain deeply when needed.
