Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and services.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for the fintech platform.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and deliver features.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and monitor applications and resolve production issues.
- Ensure the security and integrity of backend systems, data, and APIs.
- Apply testing, scalability, caching, and automated deployment best practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and server-side technologies such as Node.js, NestJS, Express, or Python.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL and data modeling.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Experience with Redis or Memcached caching tools.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Sinon, or Jest.
- Experience with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with fintech or payment systems.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
