Base Salary

$106k - $197k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Deploy predictive and generative AI models as production microservices with feature pipelines, orchestration, and integration layers.
  • Build and maintain event-driven and API-based integrations between predictive services and enterprise claims platforms, including Guidewire Navigator and FNOL intake.
  • Operationalize generative AI use cases, including prompt-driven services and frameworks for evaluating LLM output quality.
  • Own monitoring, alerting, on-call support, and service desk support for live model integrations.
  • Develop and document technical features, improvements, and end-to-end software solutions while analyzing system-level issues.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, solutions engineers, scrum masters, and downstream claims-platform teams.
  • Translate client requirements into technical designs and improve system performance, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • At least five years of software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for microservice development.
  • Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and RDS/MySQL, ideally using AWS CDK.
  • Python experience for AWS CDK.
  • Experience with Kafka, Apache Airflow, and Snowflake or similar event-driven and data pipeline technologies.
  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts including model deployment, versioning, feature pipelines, and monitoring model-serving services.
  • Experience with Datadog, Splunk, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to translate client requirements into technical designs and explain technical decisions to non-engineers.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, adaptability, prioritization, and system architecture skills.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: exposure to LLM/GenAI application patterns such as prompt engineering, retrieval, evaluation, and quality metrics.
  • Preferred: insurance claims domain knowledge, Databricks experience, or computer vision/OCR pipeline experience.
