Responsibilities
- Evolve the CRM platform and build automation and AI-assisted workflows using Braze and HTML templating.
- Develop and own backend services with Python/Django and design, create, or troubleshoot third-party integrations.
- Develop frontend experiences and experimentation frameworks with React and TypeScript.
- Lead complex initiatives from discovery through deployment and own solutions throughout their lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture, design reviews, mentorship, and engineering best practices.
- Partner with product, data, and UX teams to identify opportunities, run experiments, and deliver measurable customer and business impact.
- Shape scalable, reliable, maintainable system architectures and improve developer productivity.
- Contribute to observability, monitoring, reliability, and operational excellence, including the squad’s on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Full-stack expertise across backend services and frontend development, with backend experience in any major language.
- Experience building and owning internal tooling or automation used by other engineers.
- Ability to independently deliver production-ready email using templating languages and understand email rendering constraints, client quirks, and testing requirements.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI and the ability to establish quality gates, safety nets, and AI-native engineering workflows.
- Experience designing and evolving large-scale web applications, APIs, distributed systems, high-volume data flows, and scalable architectures.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, architectural decision-making, engineering best practices, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong product mindset, ownership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Understanding of observability, reliability, monitoring, and operational best practices, with willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
