Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices for core lending workflows.
- Build scalable APIs with versioning, error handling, pagination, security controls, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, and gateway integration.
- Develop responsive Angular applications for operations, credit, and business users, including case management, approval dashboards, and pre-approval screens.
- Implement Apache Kafka producers, consumers, and event-driven communication for approval, case lifecycle, and draw activity events.
- Deploy, manage, scale, and monitor containerized applications on AWS ECS using task definitions and environment-specific configuration.
- Manage GitHub branching, pull requests, code reviews, automated build and test gates, and GitHub Actions pipelines.
- Configure Autosys and Linux cron scheduling for batch processing, reconciliations, calculations, and report generation.
- Support the software development lifecycle through production rollout and operational support for lending users.
- Define and enforce API and service security measures, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, and usage analysis.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, operating standards, coding guidelines, development practices, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience focused on enterprise Java applications.
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
- Experience building RESTful APIs, applying API design principles, documenting APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger, and integrating API gateways.
- Experience designing microservices, service decomposition, inter-service communication, resilience patterns, and distributed tracing.
- Strong Apache Kafka experience, including producers, consumers, consumer groups, topic configuration, and offset management.
- Experience developing Angular applications with component architecture, reactive forms, RxJS, HTTP interceptors, and state management.
- Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS ECS with Fargate or EC2 launch types, task definitions, auto-scaling, and CloudWatch monitoring.
- Proficiency with GitHub workflows, code reviews, and GitHub Actions CI/CD integration.
- Experience with Autosys or Linux cron for financial-services batch processing.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL stores, optimized SQL, and Liquibase or Flyway schema migrations.
- Familiarity with Docker and orchestration concepts, Agile/Scrum delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and technical communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of EEMS role-based access control and lending approval routing; familiarity with ServiceNow, Harness, or Lightspeed; AWS certifications; and Grafana, Elastic/Kibana, or Splunk observability experience.
