Base Salary
$102k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions.
- Perform system design, design reviews, code reviews, and component-level engineering across well-defined interfaces.
- Build modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, and reusable services and components.
- Improve test coverage, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teammates to deliver cohesive, data-driven customer and partner experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems with knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices.
- Preferred: 2+ years designing, building, or operating scalable, highly available cloud services or distributed systems on Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud environments.
- Preferred: experience with production ownership, CI/CD pipeline integration, automated testing, or AI/ML-powered systems and workflows.
