Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, optimize, and monitor software systems supporting manufacturing and business areas.
- Lead day-to-day team activities involving system issues, data issues, customer incidents, and change requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver system improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation for design, security, testing, change protocols, and system procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and system validation documentation practices.
- Troubleshoot software issues, perform root cause analysis, and take proactive steps to prevent downtime or data discrepancies.
- Manage periodic reviews, audit trail reviews, access roster reviews, and other compliance tasks.
- Provide status updates, escalate major issues, encourage adoption of new functionality, and support audits and inspections.
Requirements
- Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience delivering and supporting IT software solutions.
- Experience developing, testing, and deploying software using Python, SQL, and Java.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience and knowledge of GMP, computer system validation, and data integrity requirements.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, self-management, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and relationship-building skills.
