Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Playwright-based UI and end-to-end test automation.
- Validate system behavior and integrations across complete workflows.
- Perform REST API testing and API automation.
- Use Playwright locators, fixtures, browser contexts, assertions, auto-waiting, network interception, mocking, authentication, session management, parallel execution, and Trace Viewer debugging.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and source-control workflows.
- Apply defect lifecycle, test design, and regression-testing practices.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of overall software testing or QA experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with UI and end-to-end test automation and REST API testing.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or equivalent source-control platforms.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development and testing practices.
- BE/BTech in IT, Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, EEE, or Electronics.
