Base Salary
$218k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year architecture and technical strategy for financial data pipelines, reporting systems, and operational infrastructure.
- Design and deliver scalable backend services in Go using modern cloud technology.
- Lead initiatives that improve the accuracy, timeliness, auditability, and resilience of financial data.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Compliance, and Platform teams to implement financial and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor senior engineers, lead design reviews, and establish architectural patterns and coding standards across teams.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of backend software development experience designing, building, and scaling large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Experience leading platform-building efforts that consolidate fragmented services into reusable systems within financial or transactional domains.
- Deep expertise in Go or similar backend languages and the ability to architect fault-tolerant, highly reliable systems handling high-volume financial data.
- Experience setting technical direction across teams, influencing roadmaps, and driving alignment with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex financial, accounting, or compliance requirements into precise, maintainable systems at scale.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
