Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year technical strategy and architecture for financial data pipelines and reporting systems.
- Drive the design and delivery of new backend services in Golang using modern cloud technology.
- Lead initiatives to improve the accuracy, timeliness, and auditability of financial data.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Compliance teams to create scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor senior engineers and establish coding standards and architectural patterns.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend software development experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience leading platform-building efforts in financial or transactional domains.
- Deep expertise in Go or similar backend languages with a focus on fault-tolerant systems.
- Proven ability to set technical direction and influence roadmaps across teams.
- Ability to translate complex financial requirements into maintainable systems.
- Experience utilizing generative AI responsibly to improve workflow efficiency.
