Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Develop and integrate APIs for statistical models and Machine Learning solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to deploy computational models.
- Integrate backend services with Azure components like Azure Data Lake Storage and Databricks.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs.
- Develop reusable and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
- Optimize application performance and reliability for large data processing.
- Implement automated tests, including unit tests using pytest.
- Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration with React interfaces.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery processes.
- Work with MLflow and MLOps frameworks for model lifecycle management.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and API specifications.
Requirements
- Solid experience in backend application development using Python.
- Proficiency in FastAPI and REST API development.
- Familiarity with data science models and cloud solutions.
- Advanced/Fluent English for global team collaboration.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and version control using Git.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Understanding of security practices for API development.
