Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to design and develop high-quality user experiences.
- Create high-quality, tested pull requests and review others' designs and code.
- Build tests to ensure software reliability and performance.
- Create and present design, product, and architecture documents.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web development.
- Engage with humility and curiosity as a product manager for your projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry engineering experience.
- Experience building internal infrastructure, especially in Data or Observability.
- Strong collaboration skills across multiple time zones.
- Fluency in Java, Python, or another object-oriented language.
- Experience with airbnb.io/visx and Grafana is preferred but not required.
- Deep understanding of engineering productivity pain points.
- Solid engineering and coding skills with knowledge of data structures.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outside of comfort zones and show motivation for growth.
- Fluency in English is essential.
