Responsibilities
- Build the next-gen build system using the latest technologies.
- Work on integrations between the build system and CI/CD tooling.
- Improve the editor experience for backend developers.
- Shape the technical strategy to enhance core metrics.
- Partner with engineering leaders for adoption of new capabilities.
- Act as a player/coach to ensure code quality and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Fluent in English at a professional level.
- 6+ years of industry experience.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in one or more back-end server languages (Java/Ruby/Go/C++).
- Experienced in architectural patterns of high-scale distributed products/services.
- Desire to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with build systems, preferably with Bazel.
- Experience working with large monorepos.
- Extensive JVM experience.
- Motivated to tackle projects with large open-ended scope.
- Enjoy collaborating through product reviews and architecture discussions.
