Responsibilities
- Manage core Sidewalk cloud services and messaging components processing millions of messages daily.
- Design and implement scalable cloud services for authentication, encryption, message routing, and device lifecycle management.
- Prototype technologies, evaluate design choices, and deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Contribute to product roadmaps, system architecture, and technical trade-off decisions.
- Develop monitoring and analytics solutions with ML scientists to preserve customer trust and improve network availability.
- Drive operational excellence, security, test automation coverage, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate across AWS IoT, Ring, Echo, and Alexa teams and influence technical decisions across organizations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 4+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
