Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain middle-layer and application software for Linux-based embedded solutions.
- Design and implement object-oriented Modern C++ applications according to defined architecture and design standards.
- Perform software design and component-level implementation using design patterns and principles.
- Create and maintain UML class, sequence, use case, dependency, and component diagrams.
- Develop Linux applications using system calls, shell scripting, and IPC mechanisms such as D-Bus.
- Implement multithreaded applications with synchronization and concurrency handling.
- Participate in requirements analysis and requirements engineering activities.
- Develop and execute unit tests and support static code analysis.
- Debug, analyze, and resolve software issues using Linux debugging and analysis tools.
- Integrate code into CI/CD pipelines and follow development and quality processes.
- Collaborate in Agile development teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Modern C++ programming, including C++11 and above.
- Solid experience with software design, design patterns, design principles, architecture patterns, UML modeling, and design tools.
- Hands-on Linux platform development experience.
- Experience with Linux IPC mechanisms such as D-Bus and system calls.
- Strong experience in multithreaded programming and synchronization mechanisms.
- Experience in requirements engineering.
- Testing experience with unit testing using GTest/GMock and static code analysis.
- Proficiency with gdb, strace, valgrind, make, cmake, conan, git, and Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Five to eight years of experience.
- Preferred experience includes BLE, Wi-Fi, database integration, and Python for scripting or tooling support.
