Responsibilities
- Develop reusable embedded functional safety software for inverter and converter electronic controllers.
- Design, code, and test software following an Automotive SPICE-compliant development process.
- Interface with systems engineering to analyze and document software requirements before design and implementation.
- Support development and maintenance of the common project-family software architecture.
- Maintain traceability from requirements through test cases.
- Collaborate with software engineers and multisite teams across time zones.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 3 years in functional safety software development.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, or Instrumentation engineering.
- Hands-on Functional Safety Level 3 software experience, including ADC monitoring, SMU configuration, QSPI monitoring, clock monitoring, external and internal watchdogs, and BIST.
- Working knowledge of microcontroller peripherals and hands-on experience with 32-bit Infineon TC3xx microcontrollers and their on-chip peripherals.
- Expertise in embedded software development using C, cross-compilers, and debuggers such as Lauterbach.
- Understanding of AUTOSAR configuration tools and methodology.
- Experience with IO hardware abstraction, MCAL development, and tools such as Vector DaVinci and EB Tresos is an advantage.
- Experience with configuration and change-management tools including Plastic SCM, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Polarion.
- Exposure to Agile methodology.
