Responsibilities
- Own and operate the full infrastructure stack across geographically dispersed data centers.
- Develop software, automation, tooling, and infrastructure for reliability and operational scale.
- Troubleshoot systems across networks, operating systems, container runtimes, and applications.
- Manage configuration, provisioning, software deployment, logging, and monitoring systems.
- Operate infrastructure as an internal managed service with defined SLAs.
- Partner with development teams to design and build new services.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives, scale testing, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and foundational system improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused role.
- Advanced hands-on experience with source code and artifact management systems and CI/CD infrastructure, including GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
- Strong systems background and full-stack troubleshooting experience.
- Expert-level Go and/or Python experience with a track record of shipping software.
- Experience with configuration management at scale using Puppet, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
- Experience operating infrastructure as an internal managed service with defined SLAs.
- Experience managing distributed systems in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems on bare metal and hypervisors is preferred.
- Experience with scale testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, ownership, integrity, and collaboration skills.
