Responsibilities
- Advise customers on the strategy, architecture, and implementation of digital-platform concepts and solutions.
- Evaluate business requirements and develop products, applications, or services to address complex business challenges.
- Design system and software architectures and solution concepts on public-cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Prepare technical recommendations, solution roadmaps, and product or service evaluations, including make-or-buy decisions.
- Lead proof-of-concept and MVP projects to validate proposed solutions.
- Coordinate between business and IT and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Steer teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience in financial services, specifically banking or insurance.
- At least three years of experience as a Solution Architect.
- Experience with solution design and/or software development on public-cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD tools or toolchains and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
- Ability to communicate and present confidently and appropriately for audiences up to management level.
- Strong German and English communication skills, including the ability to explain complex solution approaches clearly.
- Relevant certifications such as CPSA, Open Group, Azure, AWS, Scrum, or SAFe are preferred.
