Responsibilities
- Review product requirements and technical designs for accounting correctness.
- Define test plans for complex financial workflows.
- Build and maintain automated UI and API tests.
- Apply accounting judgment to identify risks and gaps early.
- Review and provide feedback on test automation code.
- Perform manual testing for complex financial scenarios.
- Translate real-world issues into automated coverage with Customer Support.
- Promote shared responsibility for quality across engineering.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with clinical trial accounting or related cost structures.
- Practical experience preparing for audits and responding to auditor questions.
- Ability to identify accounting risks and inconsistencies.
- Experience with accounting, financial, or ERP systems.
- Track record of collaborating with engineering and product teams.
- Demonstrated ability to write and maintain automated tests.
- Exposure to test automation tools like Playwright or Selenium.
- Basic proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python.
- Familiarity with web applications and frontend/backend systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts or willingness to learn.
