Base Salary
$190k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and advance a mission-essential business intelligence platform and ensure its availability.
- Incorporate site reliability engineering principles into the existing operational platform.
- Elicit stakeholder requirements, analyze available data, and develop solutions for delivering key metrics.
- Develop analytics to combine, normalize, and enrich large datasets.
- Design and implement ETL workflows to convert and normalize data.
- Augment the platform with new tools and technologies.
- Provide guidance to junior software engineers and data scientists.
- Create clear written documentation for internal and customer-facing audiences.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope polygraph is required.
- At least 12 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or four additional years of experience in place of the degree.
- Production-grade software development experience in Java and Python.
- Experience or familiarity with site reliability engineering principles.
- Familiarity with customer authentication and authorization platforms and standards.
- Experience productizing software as containers and deploying with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Confidence using Git and GitLab for software version control.
- Basic to intermediate Linux system administration skills.
- Strong customer service mindset and willingness to contribute to internal and customer-facing documentation.
- Preferred qualifications include Apache NiFi, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Kubernetes, Hadoop/map-reduce analytic environments, SIGINT collection and analysis systems, production CNO capabilities and operations, and frontend UI development experience.
