Software Engineer, Full Stack (Agentic AI)

Responsibilities
- Talk directly with customers and partner with product to turn hardware review workflows into agent capabilities.
- Design, ship, and operate agentic systems that reason over large-scale time-series data and hardware context.
- Build tool interfaces, sandboxed execution environments, context and memory management, compaction algorithms, skills, and guardrails.
- Develop and maintain Sift’s MCP server for querying telemetry.
- Build frontend surfaces and APIs for Sift Agents.
- Run agents reliably at scale in cloud and on-premise environments.
- Build evaluation suites and instrument quality, latency, cost, and failure modes in production.
- Integrate and assess frontier models across providers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building frontend web applications with React, NextJS, or similar technologies.
- Experience building APIs or backend services with Go, Python, Rust, or similar technologies.
- Interest in experimenting with new AI agents, models, and product features.
- U.S. person status is required for ITAR/EAR compliance.
- Preferred experience includes shipping products at scale, building LLM-powered or agentic systems, designing agent tool ecosystems including MCP, sandboxed code execution, production operations with Kubernetes and observability, AI developer tooling, time-series data, scientific computing, hardware test and telemetry, or internal engineering tooling.
