Base Salary

$160k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

Own major user-facing product features from design through deployment.
Build search, semantic discovery, Dossier views, maps, networks, dashboards, and other core platform experiences.
Develop AI-powered capabilities with transparent and trustworthy source information.
Collaborate with design, product management, deployment teams, engineers, and users.
Optimize latency, interaction design, resilience, and usability for complex workflows.
Write robust, well-tested, well-designed software and help architect and scale distributed systems.

Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
Professional or open-source experience shipping and iterating on production-grade user-facing software.
Strong frontend fundamentals with React and TypeScript, plus comfort working full-stack.
Understanding of distributed software system architecture and scaling.
Strong modern software development practices and ability to navigate large codebases.
Located in San Francisco or Washington, D.C. and open to working in an office.
Product-minded approach, strong ownership, collaboration, technical vision, and ability to handle ambiguity.
