Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain APIs, services, and tools supporting baskets, orders, checkout, promotions, capacity management, and digital ordering experiences.
- Implement small-to-medium features with guidance, write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot software issues.
- Contribute to reliable, scalable software components, testing standards, deployment practices, and the team delivery pipeline.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, participate in team meetings and sprint ceremonies, and engage in training activities.
- Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot extensively as part of the daily development workflow.
- Participate in on-call duties according to the assigned team and area of expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1.5 years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET and familiarity with basic programming constructs and design patterns.
- Basic understanding of version control tools such as GitHub and source code management.
- Familiarity with unit testing and test-driven development frameworks such as NUnit and Jest.
- Basic understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and building reliable components.
- Experience with development collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
