Responsibilities
- Apply data science, statistics, operations research, and advanced analytics to business challenges across industries.
- Design, build, and deploy scalable AI and analytics solutions for clients.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership, scientific papers, and conference presentations on behalf of BCG X.
- Manage client engagements and relationships while leading teams and interfacing between business and technology stakeholders.
- Distill complex analyses and data science concepts into clear visualizations and accessible explanations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a global team environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of data science experience; prior professional services or consulting experience is a plus.
- Deep expertise in generative AI, foundational models such as LLMs, and frameworks such as LangChain, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical foundations.
- Proficiency in Python; additional programming languages are a plus.
- Hands-on experience using modern development tools and writing code collaboratively.
- Strong experience applying advanced analytics across varied business situations and synthesizing complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong project management, communication, interpersonal, client relationship, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts clearly and translate technical results into business impact.
