Base Salary
$115k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Prototype, design, implement, and operate new software and trusted infrastructure.
- Define and implement solutions for new and challenging distributed-systems and infrastructure problems.
- Design and build services that support customer security.
- Lead technical initiatives independently.
- Build and operate large-scale distributed systems and cloud services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in one or more high-level programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems or cloud services.
- Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, APIs, microservices, databases, data modeling, CI/CD, DevOps practices, observability, and operational tooling.
- Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, security, and networking.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, experience at a large cloud provider or Internet software company, and experience building security- or network-related cloud products.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of application security and cloud infrastructure security platforms, collaboration across technical and business teams, and experience with Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

- U.S. hiring range is $114,600 to $234,600 per annum, with possible bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
