Base Salary
$105k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-team evolution of middleware patterns and runtimes for interoperability and multi-tenant scale.
- Define versioning, deprecation, API lifecycle, compatibility, and safe rollout strategies.
- Drive observability baselines, SLOs, error budgets, resilience patterns, capacity planning, and service reliability improvements.
- Design, develop, test, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize scalable software systems and services.
- Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, code reviews, coaching, mentoring, and software design documentation.
- Resolve complex API integration, maintenance, defect, and customer-reported issues while advocating for product improvements.
- Coordinate moderately complex projects and initiatives, monitor deliverables, and provide technical oversight.
- Participate in candidate interviews, assessments, and hiring recommendations.
Requirements
- Advanced software development and architecture knowledge with experience designing scalable, interoperable systems and services.
- Experience with software lifecycle execution, code reviews, debugging, testing, performance profiling, optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Ability to lead platform initiatives across teams and provide technical guidance to less experienced developers.
- Experience with API functionality, integration, versioning, lifecycle management, observability, resilience, and service availability practices.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and customers, investigate broad-reaching issues, and communicate technical solutions.
- Ability to coordinate project tasks, prioritize work, manage shifting timelines, and contribute to process improvements.
- Experience participating in hiring activities and mentoring or coaching engineers.

- U.S. hiring range is $104,500 to $234,600 per annum, with possible bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
